Flametruth failed because being as smart as din was the cuttoff level.  BG has a few people smarter than din and a surprising number dumber.

Martini is the worst poster because he doesn't understand the boundaries. 

He could have had a lot of fun here and his podcasts were a new approach. What a total fuck up.

A very god analysis. I don't think I ever visited Flametruth, so I don't know what went on there, but you encapsulated Martini very well from my perspective.  I didn't know the persona as well as many here, clearly. But I do remember that he ran away from Valhalla like a running puss after a rather long build up about doing 'flame matches,' and then did the same thing here years later with his whole 'build up content man' thing.

So far, so good. My parents are hiding in the farm, so I won't give a shit until the favela kids start rioting.

You don't have to go near them to supply, I hope.  So far we're pretty good around here, liquor stores and pot dispensaries are considered "essential services" so there's been no threat of mass civil disobediance yet.
