I joined to have a place to post that has more traffic and to meet more people, including those with opposing points of view. An echo chamber gets boring.

I stay to read posts from the people here and participate in discussions of all kinds.

I joined because Oak was here. When Flea invited me, it was a no-brainer (and, yes, feel free to interpret that as you will).

I stay because I'm a fan of smart and funny. The ratio of smart and funny to debilitating shitbaggery is just tipped enough in smart and funny's favour for me to want to stick around.

Plus, Flea's cleavage.
