Not trying to suggest here that Dovey is our very own Route 40, but it occurs to me that many an automobile must have travelled down the Main Street of America, avoiding its potholes, lazily drifting on its shoulders, running out of gas or leaving skid marks on its blacktop, and heading into the sunset all visors down.

I wonder if there were any mishaps in tunnels along the way. Probably.

A sensible man. Alcohol just doesn't work for me anymore. I get a fuckin hangover after the first drink so I think my body is telling me something. Booze is the worst drug in the world. Should the world come to it's senses drink would be banned and other, safer recreational drugs which cause next to no problems other than the illegality of obtaining them would take it's place. It will never happen as governments have too much vested in saying all drugs are bad other than those you get from a doctor. The American government in particular is to blame. The crack epidemic caused by the CIA flooding the country with cheap Cocaine. Big Pharma turning the population into opiate addicts then sheepishly giving a few billion in compensation. That wouldn't even cover the damage done in one city. If the money invested in the War On Drugs was used for social healthcare then you would have a healthier population.

It's just common sense. There's no point in arguing against it. It's a fact and the sooner someone comes out with an honest policy the better.
