I've given up on ever having a civil conversation with any of them.
It is sad AND amusing how they think of the person I am based on my views ....they have this whole false image of people who disagree with them and they dont even try getting to know people before they plaster it on you. They have this whole bias driven image of us that doesnt exist.

When I first believed in Jesus I was VERY passionate about it and I ended up in SO MANY debates and arguements with nonbelievers and it was awesome because dealing with their points and objections drove me deeper into learning....and it made my grasp on faith and scripture stronger. And I never made my challengers my enemies, ever. I've argued this topic with Vitty AND Freud and I value and respect both of them.
I would love that challange for my politcal and socail views but.....I guess getting called an "ignorant slut" and a "disgusting pig" and having my character attacked is the best I'm gonna get. :crazy:
