Thanks. Intrigue has its merits, I guess. I really don't know all that many folks here, but my reading of you all is gradually fleshing out the portrait of a beautifully dysfunctional family. Dysfunction can lead to drama, sure, but it's also a fount of ribald creativity.
I'm happy to hear you dig the rainbow. Someone has to. Truth be told, I enjoy solitude more than I do groupthink histrionics. I like to play my cards close to my bustier. The Pride festivities are flashy, but so is the latest Marvel superhero movie, and I stay away from both.
Again, hope you enjoy this marking of the passage of time in your life.
I’ve been to Pride in LA/Chicago/San Francisco and Seattle. I went to a little catholic high school and one of my friends attended the first gay prom in Los Angeles when we were in 10th grade. He had not come out to his family and the LA times put him on the front page since he was only one in attendance from a private school. He was also handsome and received a huge negative backlash at school. That was my introduction into the gay community.
