I never flame Latinos over ethnicity, never have. Pardon this digression, but it's an experience that marked me for life.
In 1965 I spent a couple of months in the DR working for Uncle Sam. During that time I had 2 short term flings with local girls, both around twenty.
One was a white Latina of good family who worked in the fragrances department of the duty-free PX. She was gorgeous, high-bred, at least 85% Castilian and mostly spoke perfect English. She surely knew how to curate and present her physical self, but not so much about how to use it.
The second was a mestiza, also of good family, who worked in the cocktail lounge of the Hotel Jaragua on the outskirts of Santo Domingo. Her genes had given her a lively mixture of Indio, Afro and Euro. She spoke only Spanish, and her looks were good if not exceptional. She was my very first experience with a woman who relished summoning the third and fourth loads from me with her body while coaxing them up from the depths of my soul with her Spanish words.
