They cannot win via word smithing nor can they accept that there will always be some choice shots lobbed by your opponent in any textual exchange.
That's what brought me to Flame Town and has kept me here for a dozen years.
Being able to laugh at yourself is the most important part of the game.
I only use conversational PI (as in what's been posted toward me). I gave Flea a pretty hard time for a while but I think she realises it was in fun and we chat via PM and stuff now but we'll still hit each other on the boards.
That's the game.
