I don't know who's an atheist on this forum apart from Vitriol. Being an atheist and being a militant atheist, to me, are two different things. I don't think religion should influence policy, however.
And I'm an agnostic.
Militant atheists, anti theists, are actually kinda scary.
I think of INCELs and church bombers, rapists, really fucking hateful degenerates.
My own personal experience with kids in religious or secular homes? Everyone is an individual. I have seen plenty of shittiness on every end.
But private Christian schools seem to have the most ruthless bullying and nastiness.
Even before i was a Christian, i was never sure what people meant by religion influencing policy. Pretty much every law we have is moral and shared by religious teachings.
The only thing i cant think of here is same sex marriage?
Help me understand what you mean by that?
