A Chicago pastor who offered tutoring in his home has been charged with two felony counts related to inappropriate sexual contact with twin 12-year-old girls, police and court records show.

Chicago police on Sunday announced the arrest of a 51-year-old Chicago man on suspicion of two felony counts of inappropriately touching two children younger than 13, whom he was tutoring.

I think you’re reaching.  While pointing out that the perpetrator is white may not constitute racism, most of the articles I’ve read about child predators have been about white people, both male and female.  Assuming people automatically pin the guy as “POC” could be construed as a desperate excuse to cover a poor choice of words...

No.  Wrong.  In my experience, every single time anyone posts something about a crime, two or three racists on the board immediately ask: what color is the perp?  I have seen this literally hundreds of times.

I know my sense of humor tends to be sardonic, but it was a pre-emptive joke, specifically designed as such.  I am used to people not getting my jokes, though, so I don't care.
