I think his point was you are not in a position to judge if you still use drugs too..

We have a poster who openly admits he was an alcoholic, but he has been sober for something like fifteen years..

He has some credibility, but if he still got drunk on occasion he wouldn't.

The difference is opiates are on another level to cocaine and physical addiction is almost guaranteed if someone regularly takes heroin over a length of time.

Cocaine and alcohol are socially acceptable whereas smack isn’t, for obvious reasons.
